Use this Scientific Fuel Delivery System (SFDS) for evaluating fuel consumption for miles travelled in a controlled environment.
Exactly 1/4 or or 1/10th of a gallon is installed in the and run down. Then just multiply the number of miles travelled on the dyno X 4 or 10 and you'll have an exact way of measuing the fuel used per mile.
Recommend use is on a dynamometer rather than the open highway
